38/365 My morning ritual in macro

Making my usual cup of coffee this morning I decided to try out my Olloclip taking some macro shots of something usually mundane and not even really noticed by most of us....coffee grains and sugar crystals. Seeing them under the magnification of a macro lens really made both items look like something totally different and interesting. Especially the sugar crystals....the first shots I took didn't show up very well bc the uniform color made them all one big blur, but after I got my little iBlazr iPhone flash and shined diffused light onto the sugar then took the pictures again it really helped in adding more definition and separation to each tiny crystal. They looked liked a pretty pile of broken quartz chips. So glad I thought to do this! Really pleased with the results I got!
