Blue Lagoon, Iceland

So on our last full day of our honeymoon we decided to try out the famous Blue Lagoon. It was a bit nervy as it was a bit exposed to the elements and...well quite alien as you can see.

The water was warm with hotter currents flowing through. I would say that its not hugely deep, at 5'9 I spent most of the morning hunched over to keep my shoulders covered and was quite stiff as a result once we managed to tear ourselves from the water.

Visually it was quite stunning though, the photo itself is situated facing away from the main entrance and down a side path.

Definitely worth the trip if you have half a day to spare in Iceland.
