J is for Junk Modelling
This “ladybird” has been sitting at the top pot our stairs since it was cleared from Becky’s room as part of an interim clear-out. It was interim because the full clear-out needs counselling and anger management arrangements in place (not to mention the emergency services on standby).
We have a general rule that the kids must not bring junk modelling home as they become too attached to pieces of cardboard that just make a mess of the house. Becky managed to smuggle this in and look at the size of the thing: the fly swat provided for scale as we would not swat a real ladybird.
She agreed to its disposal on the condition that we photograph it first and it is by stroke of luck that the day that I stubbed my toe on it in the dark when I came downstairs is the dark first thing, is also the day that J is DDW’s February Alphabet Challenge.
It is now in the garage (staging area) awaiting final despatch to the local recycling facility.
On another note, I saw the sun today so decided to go out for a lunchtime walk. It rained!!!
