What a day ..

Whenever I go to London, I end up blipping a zoo giraffe, and although I thought I should try to blip something different, I think today of all days, it's an appropriate subject to choose.

I still don't understand how the hell the Copenhagen Zoo can justify killing a perfectly healthy two year old giraffe. I've read what they have to say and it's just not a good enough explanation.

Just in case anyone's unaware of the cause of my anger - here's an article.

Why breed more giraffes if they don't want the offspring? Why not accept the rehoming offers or swap with another zoo to enrich both gene pools.

It's quite the most sickening thing I've heard in a long time. And sickening to see parents with children watching it being dismembered and fed to lions.

Sick, sick, sick and extraordinarily sad.


The concert went very well - and my terrifying moment seemed to go pretty well too.
