Drop Landing in Black and White!

I'm finally on board with Paladian's mono Monday and posting today for you a Heron that is coming down for a landing....by the nests and probably has staked claim to one. These nests multiply each year....three years ago they began to build their rookery over at the Marymoor dog park next to the Sammamish Slough. Good fishing in the slough so a close source of food for them. It's the third year I've had the pleasure of observing them from the ground not too far away. This one is in black and white so it fits into the mono Monday theme. Now I'll have to see what to tag this and all that good stuff. Snows are almost melted and intermittent rains today! And early am swim so exercise is out of the way and already a facetime with the Portland kids! Happy mono Monday to all!
