Feb 10th 2009 - Ain't no party like a Danish party
Today was all Spanish classes – interactive in the classroom for the morning and then practical in the ‘Carolina’ park in the afternoon. We had a couple of games, enjoyed the parks view and just enjoyed the wander with the mountain range surrounding Quito in the background.
Tonight though was so much fun! We had cocktails at ‘Chelsea’ (I had a ‘Newcastle’ which consisted of rum, triple sec, amaretto, cranberry, pineapple and orange juice) and the Danes tried to teach me more Danish but I couldn’t say ‘ass’! We then went to a random Danish night at one of the clubs where it was very hot but we couldn’t stop dancing! There was Alphabeat, Nick and Jay, the Macarena and plenty of Salsa and so we danced with locals, with each other and just had fun. Apparently guys don’t dance that much in Denmark so I was a rarity wanting to get on the dancefloor. I brought some of the girls a rose as the blips shows, with Mia, Louise St, Josefine, Camilla and Karoline being the lucky ladies.
