Paws sare paw

My dad has a sore foot/ankle. He (probably against medical advice) climbed and fell off of a ladder about a year ago. He didn't get it seen to then. But it has been painful over the past few months and now he has to have some other kind of scan and wear this rather fashionable shoe boot thing til the results show whats wrong with it. He is upset he can't get his trousers over it. He'll just have to start wearing shorts already. Summer isn't that far off. Hopefully it will help because he can't walk far just now and takes his walking stick (which he has decorated) when he has to go a distance. I wonder when this boot will become decorated. I don't think it'll take long.
