Trews and Paraffin Lamp
It's getting decidedly chilly out. I'm sure that before long I'll be fumbling at the camera controls through gloved hands.
Still it's always good to get out of the office.
I'd bagged a few shots that I would have been very happy to post today like The Reader.
However, instead of packing the camera away I kept it out for the walk back up Lothian Road when I spied a man in tartan trews. Paraffin lamp tucked under his arm. Sauntering down the middle of one of Edinburgh's busiest streets.
His method of flagging down the bus he wanted was to walk right in front of it was quite mad but effective.
Kinda trumped any of my previous shots for today.
