..and then it rained

So, dosed up with painkillers and a cosy warm scarf wrapped round my neck we hopped on the train to London this morning.

From London Bridge we walked to Two Temple Place to see the Discoveries Exhibition .   Very interesting and it is free!     It was gorgeously sunny when we emerged so we had a wander round the Inns of Court, popped into a nearby pub for lunch and then headed for the London Silver Vaults, where everything we fancied had rather too many noughts on the price tags.

... and then it rained, so we hopped on the No 11 bus to Victoria Station.    I took this shot from the top deck of the bus as we travelled down Whitehall towards the Houses of Parliament.     I rather like the effect with the rain running down and distorting the view.

I'm now wondering whether my senses have been distorted after mixing strong painkillers with half a pint of lager...
