Where Downton should have been filmed

The kitchen, anyway. This is Emily inspecting the range in the basement of Saltoun Hall. It's where the kitchens, the butler's pantry, the housekeeper's room, the butcher's block and meat hooks, the bread oven, the wine cellar, and all sorts of other rooms are, and apart from all the shelves, pots, pans, china etc being cleared out, it hasn't been touched.

We're driving Emily to the airport in about three minutes, and it has been a lovely visit, she's a very easy guest, and I'll miss her.
