Treat or treat

Not all my lunches are quite as glamorous as this.
Lunch in Alexis is the yin of the Granny Aisle yang.
Not that I need to break the bank for it. At EUR12 for starter and main, you can't really go wrong.
So I went on my own for lunch, with my newspaper and a good view of the kitchen. And a busy kitchen it is.
A team of 8 to 10, working relentlessly.
These guys are waging a war against time. And each wrapped lunch and dinner service is a new battle won. The stress of all these mini deadlines to be met all at the same time must be draining. They do look tired and shaken comes 2 o'clock.
The duck leg in my cassoulet was particularly tasty.
I enjoy eating food prepared buy food lovers.
