Damage appearing

The relentless winds we have been having for the last few weeks are beginning to take their toll. In the wood at Lamberts Castle at least four large trees and dozens of smaller ones and the odd branches have come down and I am sure there are more tucked away out of sight.

This is one of the large beech trees that form a lovely stand along a fence, luckely it was one of a pair of trunks that were out of the same bowl, so it will not appear as a large gap in the row.

More talk of 40 -60 mph winds over the next few nights and heavy rain
