The boys were due to be away for the weekend, so I was up bright and early to meet Ma at the station. We went for very cheap coffees and caramel waffles, then looked in a few shops before bumping into G who was frame shopping in Blackwells.

Back home for lunch (beetroot and apple bread), then a walk through Iffley and along the river. The sky was getting increasingly threatening and the river was already lapping at the edge of the path, so we turned back in case we got cut off. Good job too, we just missed a really scary storm.

In the evening us gals headed out for cocktails and to admire Oxford by night. Back home to watch Amelie and eat chocolate cantuccini. Beaut of a day.
