I volunteered my self to go visit a client on the Medical/Oncology/Palliative Unit at the hospital . I just found out that this client has been sitting alone for three days with no visitors. If I had known they were there I would have gone to visit on my own time due to this client is nonverbal. When I arrived at the client’s room, I was greeted with a scary scream and a pillow thrown at me. There’s a find how do you do. I must say sometimes I get upset with myself because I think I care too much and then I get upset because some people do care enough. In the end I can only be the person that I am and I guess I am one that cares too much.
