Prep Work

Tonight's Zucchini and Fenugreek did not turn out very well. But it looked good along the way.

Tomorrow I prep a friend's bathroom for painting.

Everything I do these days seems to be in preparation for something else.

For years English teachers kept telling me that preparation (and "pre-writing") was the golden key to good, coherent writing. It took me until college to realize they were right, and a couple more years to regularly (and successfully) implement it. The same, apparently, applies to cooking. I've been slowly teaching myself to cook like a grown up: reading the recipe through, preparing all the ingredients ahead of time, washing dishes as I go.

I guess preparation is a good thing. I just wish I knew what comes next.
