Departure

Weather perked up today. Took Mum for a wheel around the harbour and all the way to Lime Bay, without her freezing to death. We had our flask of tea and a few biscuits, out there on the point. Lime Bay's the viewing deck for departures and arrivals at YWH.

We sat for a bit ... a bit too long. She started freezing to death on the way back, against the wind, so I broke into a trot along The Goose. We were a chariot of fire as we crossed the Selkirk Trestle! She would've bounced out her chair, had she not been strapped in.

Jesus. I'll be done for elder abuse next.
