Wind, sun and rain

We've spent the weekend lazily at home. I hardly left the house. The wind has been strong, the rain fairly relentless and I've been happy to potter about without achieving very much at all.

Sitting in front of the computer this afternoon, I looked up to see that the sun was shining brightly suddenly at the rear of the house, whilst a thick black cloud scudded in from the west. I picked up my camera and opened the window and before the lens got soaked I snapped this picture. I liked the way the view over the meadows beyond Oakey Grove are blurred by the rain.

Tomorrow is another day, but it will be wet again, and again and again all week
