"rhinapotamus!"

Was hard to chose which picture to use for today's blip as there were loads of great ones from our spontaneous/last minute trip to the South Lakes Animal Park. A great day out, and bargain entry cost since it's donations rather than set charges at the moment. We wrapped up warm and put the kids in their waterproofs and wellies as it was chucking it down when we left home, resigned ourselves to getting cold and wet.. but the sun was out in the Lakes and we didn't get rained on once :-) Seems a lot of other folk had the same idea as it was packed, but still, we wandered at Lily pace and loved it.

Lily was in her element running about in her wellies and absolutely refused to be carried. She must have walked miles. Managed to stay awake the whole time, only sleeping on the way back. Dylan almost had a lemur sit on him and jumped out of his skin! His favourite "amimal" was the "rhinopotamus" don't you know? Love it. keeping that one.

Went for tea at Mum and Dad's when we got home and they both enjoyed some new story books before bed. Hopefully we'll get a good long kip after all that fresh air!
