Digging for breakfast

She (a female blackbird, I think) spent several minutes digging, prodding and lifting up leaves under the hellebores this morning!
Meanwhile the woodpecker and the goldfinches were feeding at the table, the feeders swaying in the wind.
And the sun shone for most of the day, although it was much colder than of late!
So roast pork and apple sauce seemed to be a suitable lunch!

Later, I managed to read for a while - yes, a lazy Sunday afternoon!
