Brutalised Tree

This tree looks as if it suffered a traumatic chainsaw attack some time ago. However, it seems to have recovered well, throwing out several new branches but still exhibits the scars of its ordeal.

Once again, I have brought added life to the subject by combining it with the sky that was behind me.
