A very busy Saturday - it has been lovely (hence the Backblip!)
We started the day with a dog walk and then headed swimming with Minnie at the Snowdome - Mum came with us and I was so glad that she did as she helped me get Minnie dressed and held her while I got myself ready too. She then sat in the spectator area and took a couple of cheeky photos. We were in there about 20 minutes and Minnie was famished when we got out, it certainly worked up an appetite. I picked up a timetable as me and Steph are playing to do a yoga class there during the week hopefully.
Minnie was brilliant. We only went in the pool that was 15cm deep so she was able to stand up in the water. When we lay her in the water she was kicking her legs, it was very cute. We bumped into a friend, Dawn, who has recently found out she is pregnant. She and her husband thought they would not be able to have children due to him having had cancer as a child. It was so lovely to chat to her and as they live round the corner from us their baby will be in the same school year as Minnie :)
We came home had some lunch and then headed over to see my cousin Helena and her 5 day old little baby boy - not so little as he was 10lb!!! He is still unnamed so we were helping to pick names.....they want unique and a bit quirky maybe with an Italian or Irish twist! It was lovely to see Minnie and her second cousin - they will be great friends. I took loads and loads of photographs - way too much choice for my blip!
Mum left there and drove back to Cornwall whilst we headed to the pub with my brother and his girlfriend for a couple of drinks whilst Minnie slept :0
We picked up a takeaway on the way home and it topped off a wonderful day nicely!
