Detroit, here I come

I hate flying, but have to say today was fairly painless. I upgraded to 1st class for a very small charge so had a big comfy seat, a snack and got to pet the service dog who was sitting nearby. We also had entertainment in the form of a man who wouldn't hang up his phone for take off and then told the flight attendant to "shush," which was a very bad idea. Fingers crossed for the return trip - I am hearing that weather might be an issue.
