What else can you get for £3?

I came home at a relatively civilised time this evening to give an hour or two to my essay. I became a little distracted when a former school mate posted a picture from our school yard c. 1983. I then passed a pleasant half hour faffing with old photo albums and trying to remember who is who. I used to keep meticulous scrap books and diligently saved all manner of ephemera. I'm glad I was such a nerdy kid, otherwise I would be denied little treasures like this school disco ticket. What fun!

Spurred on my memories of the exalted sophistication of class celebrations I tried on dresses for the alumni dinner on Saturday. I am sad to report that the ticket price for that event is slightly more than £3.
