Water under the bridge.

I don't think I've seen such a sustained period of wet weather. To think that just over a year ago they were complaining about the soil drying out!
The roadway on this bridge is on an incline, the right of the bridge as seen in the Blip being lower. When the river is in flood, the force of the water as it meets the stonework on the other side causes surge that runs over the bridge at its lowest point flooding the road to the side.
