Cyclamen coum

A bright moment in a dull day.

I planted a few seedlings out about fifteen years ago ..... they've done well :-)

This species is the truly hardy winter flowering cyclamen, having come through the last few winters (-20C on one occasion.) It does like to see a bit of warm sunshine in summer which helps to form lots of flower buds while the plant appears to be dormant.
