Mature Wives Tales

Woke up at 4 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Fail. Still, I got to see the men's downhill in the Olympics (Mathias Mayer of Austria won).

Angela had a nice long sleep and was ready to go to mums for lunch. It was lovely, food tip top and we tried out a few things to determine the sex of the baby. Hanging a needle by a thread says that its a boy, asking a ring hanging by a thread says girl. One of them has to be right!

Edit: A's waters have broke! In the evening she felt a bit of water and it didnt stop, more a trickle than a flood. We called the hospital, they told us to go in. They said "Yup, they have definately gone"!! So things are starting to happen, not long now!!
