Better than six hours on the M4/M25
11:00 there's a Ross's Gull at Port Talbot at Aberavon at River Afan mouth at end of Jackstone Pier, showing well. There's been a few Ross's Gulls around this winter, but we've always been at the opposite side of the country on a NS axis this time we're still at the opposite side of the country but this time on an EW axis, so it's only just over three hours away. Only!, yeah well I must admit six hours on the M4/M25 doesn't fill me with enough joy so we'll pass on that one. Instead took RCB to Tyttenhanger for the Tree Sparrow and then on to Amwell where today's Kingfisher was posing nicely.
