Mr Singh's slow cooked lamb curry

Dr D got Rick Stein's Indian curry cookbook for Christmas.

Thought she would have fun in the local Asian grocery sourcing the stuff, to say nothing of following the recipes in English. Cloves, cloves of garlic etc...

She was a bit concerned to learn that goat (male, more than 1 year old) is used in the original recipe. Not easy to get your hands on goat meat here.

Anyway, tonight is debut night. Worryingly, I've been left in charge while she has gone off to sort out a couple of patients who (inconsiderately) may die before morning if not attended to this evening.

It looks & smells wonderful, and the aroma is filling the house. The neighbours may start to talk...

Bavarian Sunday's are highly regulated, and even thinking of a noisy activity can cause problems. I hope smelly cooking is exempt.
