Sick Day...

You'd never know by those smiles that we had a sick day today. Wednesdays are a bad day to be sick, because we miss preschool and AWANA! Shucks. But both kids have fairly new cold symptoms and I didn't feel right sending them out into the world to pass along their germs!

So, we managed to run a couple of errands to help out dad and then spent the rest of the day at home, watching movies, playing on the computer, reading stories and trying to have some low key fun. We even all managed a late nap today and with daylight savings time, woke up when it was dark outside. that was an odd feeling!

Daddy is heading out on a big road trip tomorrow with 8 students and he came home tonight in a 12 passenger van! The kids were thrilled to climb around on the seats and pretend that we were taking a big road trip to Family Camp!

I haven't mentally prepared at all for the next few days. Josh leaves at 6am tomorrow and I'm on my own.... Time for a sleepover with Aunt Kelly Jo!
