Feeding

The ground is absolutely sodden now - I have never seen it as wet. And although it is not cold, there is apparently some snow on the way, if only for a few days.

So this morning, between heavy showers, I put some food out for the birds and within minutes this chaffinch was helping itself to seed.

Worth seeing large.
