Scotland's performance was almost unremittingly bad - there was no energy and every single area of the game was unreliable.

In spite of a certain amount of enthusiasm for their performance in the press, I thought England were pretty bad too. Uninspiring, unexciting, lots of slow ball.

Sour grapes? Perhaps, but I've watched Italy get in three tries against Scotland in the first 10 minutes of a game, and at least that was exciting. I thought this game was pretty dull whoever you were supporting.
