I spy...

Does anyone remember these lovely little books? I found them on one of our loft clearing expeditions and they took be back to family holidays in Devon. I don't seem to have made many entries in them - the "Wild Flowers" one seems to have been the most popular one for entries with sightings recorded from 1963 and 1965 when I would have been 8 and 10. I suspect that as I was an avid reader I was more fascinated by the pictures and the information about them than feeling in details.

I'm a bit more committed to writing things down these days and have found blipping a very therapeutic experience.

I might look at my little books a little more closely now and see what else I can find!
