The boyz again

Up for Mass this morning and then to lunch at Y and Z's. Delicious food and a surprise birthday cake for DB. He was really chuffed. So was I, it was yum!

Home to get ready to take DB to the airport. We made a spur of the moment decision to detour to the Waimak River to look at potential fishing spots. Cousteau did a spot of stick chasing and the boys posed for this shot.

As always, sad to say goodbye to DB, but knowing that it won't be long before we won't have to say goodbye to each other any more. Then I'll have to say goodbye to my friends and my life as I know it. Sorrow and joy in every journey. :-/
