Hope for a Cure

Many people know that the pink ribbon is the international symbol for breast cancer awareness. I recently found out that that there are other colors to show support for the various types of cancers (way too many).

This photo shows a lavender colored ribbon which represents "Hope for a cure" for all cancer. I saw it on a quiet street when I stopped by to visit a friend and had never noticed it until now. So appropriate to have hope and pray for a cure, too many heart wrenching stories about cancer.

Also liked the backdrop with the beautiful blues skies, a welcome sight in Bahrain.
