Eating Snow II

Since I've lived in this place, I can only remember one other time with more snow than we have had in the last 24 hours. Today, we heard the sleet as its decent from up above was stopped in the blanket of snow.

In the our neighboring state capitol, traction devices are required to be on the streets. Just a sign of how we are not used to this kind of weather.

More sledding today and the snow was actually wet enough to make a snowman or two. We seem to be at the tail-end of our winter wonderland though; it was raining at dusk and the forecast is for temperatures reaching 35 F before morning. Fun while it lasted!

Both children enjoyed eating snow today, but Q shoveled it in, which seemed like a worthy moment to preserve.
