A bunch of online videos is a really bad way to learn anything.

Except...

I'm not advocating for a bunch of unadorned online videos but simply reminding myself that for all the possible critique of x y or z - motivation and context can eat pedagogy for lunch. [good pedagogy can help more people eat more easily but that's a different conversation.
