Day 1 of our Great Ocean Road road trip

We'd all had enough of job hunting and decided to take some time away from Melbourne and go for a trip along Great Ocean Road. We packed up our stuff and checked out of the hostel for a few nights in a tent. Chris and I had our little tent from Argentina, Paul (Cumbria) and Paul (Scottish) had a big 10 person tent with them that they shared with Cat, Tom, Cassie and Rory and the Irish girls, Sue, June and Maria hired themselves an amazing Kiss camper van. We drove along the main highway to Warrnambool which is the other side of Great Ocean Road from Melbourne so we could work our way back.

This photo was taken just as we arrived at the beach for the most beautiful sunset and once it fell dark, the sky was so clear and full with so many stars!
