Bald Eagle in a Blizzard

Well, I am nothing if not persistent. Snow showers today, but we drove two hours to the "Eagle Festival" in a snowstorm --- and it was well worth it.

I promise you I will go there again on a sunny day and get a better shot, but it was still exhilarating to see this beauty fly. Pretty cool close up. It does not yet have the white head because it is a juvenile. I have added a few more snowy shots here.

And to top the day off, I didn't even have the leftover ravioli for dinner!
