Thank you Mary!

After the blue skies of yesterday, today was back to rain - not drizzle or fine rain but lashing rain for most of the day. As well as a stream running down the front garden, we now have a stream in the back garden - the ducks will be delighted (that's my sarcastic voice).

An indoor day. H has a friend over for a sleepover so made them a chocolate fudge cake courtesy of Mary Berry. I love her recipes - and thankfully the cakes always come out fine.

Also made spice and treacle traybake which is delicious.
Let's hope tomorrow is a bit drier
