Weather dreadful today, got very wet taking this by the canal. Spent this evening cooking as I have 5 coming for sunday dinner tomorrow. So I have made a very boozy marinade for some ginormous lamb shanks from our farm shot ( by the canal...hence this shot!) so they can soak overnight, have made my sticky and also boozy red cabbage and orange, and there is an even boozier plum and lemoncello tart baking in the oven as I blip this and I can smell it and must not forget it !!!!
time to put feet up, take my pinny off and have the cooks perk of the rest of the bottle of wine! Hope you are all having a good weekend despite the weather!
