daffodil

After a glorious afternoon yesterday the rain returned today. Made the decision not to go out and have a computer day instead (photo editing and a backlog of software updates).  I also had to confront my fear and tackle an indoor blip.

Took one of the daffs I got for my birthday and headed upstairs.  Propped a sheet of black card against a window and put the flower in a small vase on the windowsill. 

Out later for a few hours celebrating an engagement. Enjoyed the occasion  and the glass (or two) of bubbly.
