Space

So, I popped in to work this afternoon to do the video clips for tomorrow's quiz, and this guy was sitting opposite me on the bus. It was busy, a couple of people were standing, but he quite happily chatted away on his phone while taking up two seats. As someone who is larger than most people I'm extremely conscious that I take up more room than I should - I'll lean into windows or aisles on buses, trains and planes, squash myself as small as possible to try to avoid taking up the personal space of anyone unfortunate enough to be sitting beside me. So I really don't get why men (and, sorry fellas, it is generally men - there's a whole tumblr's worth of them here, look!) do this. Infuriating.
