Pop Up Swap Shop

Today I popped along to Drumchapel Community Centre where a pop up swap shop was being set up. The idea was that people could bring along old clothes (even rags) and exchange them for newer clothes. There was a good turn-out of volunteers to make this happen and they managed to help several people this morning with newer clothes and food. This was a trial to see how it ran. Perhaps more publicity and a better location would help this idea reach more people next time. Great to see people willing to help others. I had been asked to come along to open in prayer, which I was more than happy to do!
