Blustery day out!

We decided to have a day out today and put all the ‘jobs’ to one side for a few hours. We ended up near to Stratford Upon Avon, Charlecote Park. Charlecote Park is a grand 16th century country house (not currently open), surrounded by its own deer park (hence the blip!), on the banks of the River Avon near Wellesbourne. If you look here you will see how much the River Avon has burst its banks and the beautiful gardens to the house under water!

It was very windy but allowed us to have a good 2 hours wondering around the areas not under water and a good chat about, work, studies, family (my parents), my priorities, our priorities and stuff in general. Its helped…and thank you to you all for your support yesterday...its helped too.

We arrived home just as the heavens opened so tonight will be spent with a bottle of wine, some dinner, a open fire and a catch up on the winter Olympics.

xx
