Stuart and Mo

Sav's picture of Stuart and Mo having a little kiss at the wedding of their eldest daughter, Gabby, which we were privileged to be a part of two years ago.

Today is Mo's 50th birthday and Stuart, along with their three children, organised a surprise party for her at their house. They all went to Bath for the day, then Gabby and her hubby, who now have Matilda said they needed to get their little one home. Everyone else went to Beth's ( child no.3 ) flat in Bath, whilst Gabby and co. Struggled back to Trowbridge and got the house ready.

We picked up another mutual friend who lives nearby and arrived just after 7pm. Given the awful traffic conditions between Bath and Trowbridge, we're wondering how long we'd be celebrating without the birthday girl. As most people were travelling from the Bath area, we were also wondering if we might be the only people there to celebrate!

One other couple made it there before Mo, so at least it wasn't just us hiding in the kitchen when she walked in! She was suitably surprised and over the next hour more and more people made to the party.

Once we were all there, it was a lovely evening, mostly spent admiring Sav's picture!
