Puddle
Trees reflected fuzzily in a large puddle by Hampton Court Palace.
I had planned to run along the towpath to Kingston but as I started along there, a runner coming the other way told me the water was over the towpath and was thigh-deep, so I headed along the road instead.
I was only caught in about 3 squally showers, in spite of being out for 3 hours. In Richmond Park the wind was roaring in the treetops, but there was sometimes no wind at ground level. Weird. In between showers there was often beautiful blue sky and bright sunshine.
The long runs aren't getting easier, but I've got used to them now. As ever, a lot of running is in the mind as much as the legs. Brighton Half Marathon next weekend - a "short" run :-)
