Maid in Wales

Any Port in a Storm.

An early blip today as i am going to watch the Six Nations match between Wales and Ireland. We got to Porthcawl and it was wild. We couldn't park anywhere near the harbour and lighthouse so parked in the car park in town. Walking towards the harbour, J had to hold my hand because otherwise i would have been blown away. It was the wildest i have ever seen it. The sea looked as if it was boiling and the foam was blowing all over the road. They had put a rope across the path to stop idiots walking too close to the lighthouse. I wedged myself into the R.N.L.I doorway so i wouldn't get blown away. There were men a lot bigger than me nearly being swept off their feet. I couldn't take many photos as the camera was being shaken with the wind so i gave up and waited for J, who was talking to a friend of his who was also taking photos . I have never seen so many people with cameras of all shapes and sizes. We then walked around the corner where i took this shot of a huge wave breaking over the harbour wall. Back home now, and going to batten down the hatches and enjoy the match. Best viewed LARGE.
