Alien!

One of the showpieces at the ICE exhibition this year.
There were some amazing things to see - a huge animated dinosaur, this alien, ironman, people doing card tricks, girls in amazing costumes.

Actually, it quite scared me - the sheer scale of it, the flashing lights, music, games and slot machines. All for the gaming industry. ICE just showed me how huge the industry is - from seats to slot machines, poker to payment solutions: play from your mobile, buy this throne for your casino, have a juke box, create this atmosphere, use this brand - here you can buy anything, be anyone, and nobody loses.

Then I went back to the real world of trying to get back across London on a tube strike day with howling winds and freezing rain.
