A REAL snow day!
Not the typical Portland whisper-of-snow-close-the-schools kind of snow day, but an honest to goodness SNOW day. I so wanted to go scooting around the neighborhood, but even though Laurie shoveled a path for me, I couldn't get the scooter down the driveway - high centered. Disappointing. Liza really needed a walk, since she just couldn't figure out what to do in the back yard - all her favorite spots were buried under white stuff! Poor thing was so confused.
We had even more snow this afternoon, and it's predicted to be around for a few days, with more snow tonight and tomorrow. Fortunately, Laurie was able to get to the store today and stock up on a few things -- then gave Liza a bit of a walk around the neighborhood so she could take care of business. This is one of those times I'm sure she'd like to learn to use the (indoor) toilet!
I love the way the snow dotted the witch hazel and outlined the ferns. And Kwan Yin seems to be holding an offering of the white stuff. Everything looks so different now!
