Diamonds

Bitter cold and a dusting of fresh snow has rejuvenated winter's beauty in the neighbourhood. Shown off to good effect by the streetlight behind the birch at the side of our driveway.

The temperature "rose" to -5C today so I was able to handhold this shot with just enough steadiness for a passable result.

Adjusted for white balance and contrast, added Drama filter, then finally cropped and vignetted in Snapseed.
